Interior Planning
We believe that beautiful, functional cabinet design begins with interior planning. Many of our projects start with a meeting in the existing space to develop an understanding of how the space will be used and where functionality can be improved.
In new build projects we are happy to sit down and discuss your floor plans with the architect or building designer to ensure we can deliver beautiful cabinets that integrate into well considered spaces. Breaking down the elements of the space allows us to ensure that it will be functional and cater to your specific requirements – no one space is the same as the next.
Joinery Design
Wyer + Craw’s main endeavour is to provide our clients with a bespoke design solution to suit their personal style. Our in-house design team specialises in the design of custom joinery. From ultra contemporary to classically styled, there is no style that we don’t aim to deliver.
Our team’s thorough understanding of cabinet construction allows them to push the envelope of what is possible in design, while delivering cabinetwork that will stand the test of time physically, functionally and aesthetically. Although much of our work is designed ‘in house’, we are happy to work with your architect or interior designer to ensure a cohesive approach to new builds and renovations.
Manufacturing
Manufacturing takes place at our two Brisbane-based workshops. Our manufacturing and installation division consists of highly skilled cabinetmakers, wood machinists, french polishers and apprentices, many of whom have been at Wyer + Craw for decades.
By keeping the bulk of the process’ in house, we are able to deliver residential projects consistently on time while maintaining outstanding handmade quality.
Installation
Many cabinetmaking firms choose to outsource the installation of their cabinetwork. At Wyer + Craw we know that the people who build it should be the people who install it. This approach of small hands on teams enables us to maintain our high standards and attention to detail.
Along with our talented cabinet makers we work alongside a range of bespoke suppliers, stonemasons, painters, solid surface and stainless steel manufacturers to deliver a complete joinery solution.
